The Greenbelt’s Holland Marsh is Ontario’s “vegetable basket.” While the main crops are carrots and onions, the area also produces lettuce, celery, potatoes, cauliflower, beets, radish and parsnips.
Where is the Greenbelt?
Greenbelt stretches 325 km from Rice Lake in Northumberland County to the Niagara River and is about 80 kilometers wide at its widest point.

Bok choy, napa, diakon, bitter melon, eggplant, okra, coriander, calaloo, chilli-peppersmolokhia, vine leaves, Halal meat and much more are available to meet demand.

The more you shop for locally-grown, ethno-cultural products the more Greenbelt farmers will produce, ensuring that you have fresh food that tastes like home for generations to come.
